I met Blanc on June 13th! Brianna said, "Brittany, you have to see this cat." I walked over to Blanc and discovered that this cat had two different colored eyes! I thought this was very unique and had to capture a photo! I am so glad that I did and I was able to meet this sweet and loving cat!

I met Boogie Bear on June 13th! Boogie Bear was a popular dog yesterday! While I was photographing Boogie Bear, at least three people from the public came by to look at this sweet face! Everyone was saying, "Aww" as they passed by Boogie Bear's kennel! Boogie Bear received a great deal of attention yesterday!

I met Chucky on June 13th! Chucky reminded me of a big teddy bear! This photo describes Chucky's personality perfectly! This photo looks like Chucky is smiling and this was Chucky's face each time I took a photograph! This face makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile, too!

I met Cocoa Powder on June 13th! Cocoa Powder appears to be smiling in this photo which is why I chose to edit and use this one! Cocoa Powder was very loving and did not mind the camera! Cocoa Powder appeared smiling in most of the photos that I took! What a cute face!

I met Darla Jean on June 13th! Darla Jean was napping before I decided to take this photograph. Darla Jean became very interested in my camera and every time the camera made the noise, Darla Jean seemed to "pose." Darla Jean is a sweet cat who has a lot of love to offer.

I met Debbie on June 13th! Debbie was playful and sweet. This dog instantly made me smile. Debbie was interested in the noise the camera made each time I snapped a photograph! Debbie also had many members of the public walking past her kennel saying, "Aww!"

I met Diesel on June 13th! Diesel was very calm and loving during our photo shoot. Diesel looked at the camera and did not mind having pictures taken! Diesel is a sweet dog and would make a great companion for anyone!

I met Dodge on June 13th! Dodge instantly won my heart! Dodge may be small but has so much love to offer. Dodge has one of the sweetest faces I have ever seen! This dog's personality is calm and relaxed. Dodge is truly a sweetheart.

I met Esmeralda on June 13th! Esmeralda's eyes are beautiful. This sweet cat was very intrigued by my camera and the noise it made. Esmeralda appeared to enjoy our time together and let me take several photographs! What a sweet face!

I met Gisele on June 13th! Gisele wanted to sit in my lap during our visit together. I snapped a few photos of Gisele and then spent time cuddling with Gisele in my lap! This dog is so loving and has a fantastic personality! Anyone who had Gisele in their home would be very lucky!

I met Hallie on June 13th! Hallie knows her name quite well and posed nicely for the camera. Hallie was able to sit and when I called her name, she would quickly turn her head! Hallie has a fun personality and I hope she finds a fun and loving home soon!

I met Marcus June 13th! Marcus was taking an afternoon nap when I came to photograph! Marcus perked his head up for a few photos and quickly returned to his afternoon nap. If this photo had a title, I'd call it, "Catnapping!"

I met Moe on June 13th! I was talking with a lady who had fostered another dog and she said, "Look at those gorgeous eyes." She asked if I had photographed Moe and I informed her that I had not. I opened up the kennel and rubbed Moe. I then asked Moe to sit and honestly was not expecting this puppy to do so. Moe sat and I snapped four photographs before Moe began playing! The lady smiled and said, "Wow, Moe! That was great. I'm glad you got to photograph that sweet dog!" I continued talking with her for a while longer.

I met Nike June 13th! I instantly fell in love with Nike and wanted to take Nike home with me immediately! Nike and I played together and cuddled before I began photographing! Nike won my heart and each time I passed the kennel Nike's tail wagged and I smiled! I truly love Nike!

I met Pops on June 13th! Pops was not camera shy and appeared to enjoy the attention! Pops was relaxing and did not even get up during our time together! Pops is a very sweet cat. Pops would be a great addition to any home!

I met Sita on June 13th! Sita's photograph is one of my favorites! Sita's head is tilted. I said, "Sita" and made the noise that Professor Johnstone taught us and was able to capture this photo! Sita's photo looks as if Sita is listening to me. Sita has an amazing personality and a lot to offer a family! I hope Sita finds a loving home soon!

I met Stallion on June 13th! Stallion was enjoying all the traffic passing through the dog room. I like this photo because Stallion turned around, posed, and went back to people watching. This photograph describes our time together well! Stallion is very sweet!!

I met Trevor on June 13th! Trevor could be described as loving and calm. Trevor has spent time in foster care to experience what home life is like. Trevor's foster home wrote a great story about his time in foster care and it is truly worth reading. Trevor is a wonderful dog with a sweet personality. I hope Trevor finds a forever home!

I met Wendy on June 13th! Wendy was one of the most relaxed cats that I have had the privilege of meeting. Wendy did not mind the camera and posed for several photos. Wendy appeared to enjoy our time together and this cat wanted to be rubbed! I enjoyed getting to meet Wendy!
Your photos are awesome! Moe's eyes are so unique and beautiful. Blanc has really awesome eyes too, I love how they are both different colors. Ironically, I have not photographed any of these animals. Great work! :)

DeleteI love your photos. The only suggestion I would have with the dogs is to get down on their level for the photo. I know this is hard and it also reduces your dominance over the dog, but when at all possible, it provides for a more capturing image as portrayed with Queen Jubilee and BoogieBear.
ReplyDeleteKaren, thank you so much for your comment. Your suggestion is something I worked on each week; however, I could still work on it. It is very difficult to get on their level without them sitting in my lap and leaving "photo-less." However, I agree, the pictures when I am on their level are much better. DeleteDid you not fall in love with Trevor? As soon as I saw him I had to go in and cuddle with him. He was full of personality and so easy to photograph. All of your photos are great. Which pet was your favorite over the entire course (if you could choose just one)?
ReplyDeleteBrittany, I absolutely fell in love with Trevor! Trevor was adorable and such a sweetheart! I did not want to leave! Thank you so much for your comment! If I had to choose...I would choose Buddy and Nike! These dogs instantly won my heart and I almost cried getting out of the kennels. Fortunately, I was able to see Buddy's adoption. I am hoping Nike has found a home now!
